Program Overview


Frederick County Rural Homeownership Program is a program that provides loan funds to assist low-income residents with funding to purchase homes outside of urban areas. Loans may be used to build, repair, renovate ot relocate a home or to purchase and prepare sites, including providing water and sewage facilities. Rural areas only, not the City of Frederick


Property Eligibility Requirements


All non-metropolitan areas in Maryland

Maximum amount is $274,100.
